As Yin Yoga is based on the beliefs of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where we focus on our wellbeing mind-body-energy included.

It is an ultra beneficial practice that includes simultaneously:

Here is what Aurore advises on how to support your digestion best:

  • Always listen to your body and determine if you feel hungry before you eat

  • Foster an environment conducive to good digestion eg. calm by avoiding annoyances or situations that generate acute stress when eating meals

  • Allow at least 20 minutes to take meals

  • Make sure you chew each bite well at least 15 times

  • Encourage the consumption of drinks outside of meals

  • Fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits from organic farming // min. 50% of the plate must consist of vegetables

  • Consume raw fruits outside of meals

  • Encourage the diversification of vegetables

  • Limit refined and ultra-processed products: fruit juice, baguettes, confectionery, cookies, cakes, ice cream, soda, crisps, instant soups, cereal bars, sweeteners, industrial products labeled gluten-free, vegetable steak, sausages, smoked meats , margarines, baguettes, white flour, white dough, etc.

  • Ideally, promote starch in the evening and animal or sub-animal proteins such as eggs in the morning and at noon

  • It is necessary to include having protein every day in sufficient quantity

Yin yoga is very restorative yoga. It brings us back to our center. Connecting us, mind, and body through conscious awareness has very stress-reducing effects. Together with the right diet, this practice invites renewal within you, improving your metabolism.

Reclining Twist - be present & relax. We tend to hold on to things: thoughts, experiences, and emotions. Yin Yoga lends the time and space to release what no longer serves you. Being vulnerable whilst releasing through stillness & breath. Creating space for newness.
